Vanilla Cupcake, without frosting

Projek baking lagi :-) kali ni Vanilla Cupcake tanpa frosting. Hajat nak buat frosting buttercream tapi hasil cupcake saya agak manis, maka saya simpan hajat tu. Butter yg dah room tempreture saya masuk semula dalam fridge.... Insyaallah, next time kita ber-frosting.

So my vanilla cupcake was eaten at it's own. Alhamdullilah taste delish! Thank you for the recipe from Laura Vitale. She makes baking as friendly as it is. Dulu baking pada saya macam scary bila hasil tidak memberangsangkan. Adakala sampai saya tak mem-baking gara-gara tak leh nak get the batter, texture and taste up to a satisfaction.


VANILLA CUPCAKE (NO FROSTING)

SERVES 12 PCS
OVEN TEMPRETURE 175c FOR 20 MINUTES

1 cup granulated sugar 
1 stick of butter at room tempreture (113 grams) 
2 egss 
2 tsp vanilla extract 
2 tsp baking powder 
1/8 tsp salt 
1 1/3 cup flour 
1/3 cup whole milk - I substitute with plain yoghurt for 1/3 cup + 1 Tbsp

  • Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and incorporate the batter followed by the vanilla extract
  • Mix dry ingredient in another bowl - flour, salt & baking powder 
  • Mix the dry ingredients in the wet mixture
  • Then slowly the milk add or yoghurt
  • Mix well BUT dun over mix
This a basic vanilla cake recipe while the frosting 
you can create whatever flavour that compliments the cuppies
